AFTERGLOW is a collection about the period after a life-changing moment. It is not about returning to who you were, but about becoming something new — layer by layer, colour by colour, through movement, softness and time.
The series unfolds as a visual journey from darkness to light, from raw movement to quiet clarity. The earlier works are deeper, fuller and more restless. As the series develops, the layers become softer, the surfaces smoother and the compositions more balanced. The traces do not disappear; they become part of a new whole.
Night Bloom opens the series in the dark. It carries the first stage of AFTERGLOW: an inner night in which not everything is visible yet, but something has already started to move.
Like certain flowers that only open at night, this work is about blooming before the light has fully returned. The deep blues and red-purple layers hold silence, tension and an underlying pulse.
This is not the end of something, but the beginning of a new form growing beneath the surface — the first sign of an afterglow.

In Chromatic Pulse, movement begins to rise. Colour becomes more intense, energy becomes visible and the layers start to push against one another.
The work feels like a heartbeat after stillness: alive, raw and not yet fully balanced. But underneath that pulse, there is also a moment of safety — like finding calm water after turbulence, or taking one deep breath after holding it for too long.
Within the series, Chromatic Pulse marks the moment when life begins to return. Not quietly, but with colour, rhythm and force — the first feeling that the body can open again.

Velvet Tide is a transition point in the series. The work is still raw, layered and unsettled, but there is already more movement beneath the surface.
This is where the search begins: trying different methods, testing layers, pushing colour and texture, not yet knowing where it will lead. It carries the struggle of change — the moment between what has been survived and what is still becoming whole.
Within AFTERGLOW, Velvet Tide marks the shift from surviving to slowly feeling whole again. Not smoothly, not all at once, but through movement, friction and the first acceptance of a new rhythm.

Wild Becoming is the point in the series where movement begins to find its own direction. The work is full, textured and alive, with visible traces of the process still present on the surface.
Here, the search starts to become form. Different methods, layers and rhythms begin to blend into one another, creating a new visual language that is not yet polished, but deeply present.
It holds the raw edges of change: the moment when old structures open, new patterns begin to appear and a different way of being starts to take shape. Wild Becoming is not about arriving; it is about the force of becoming itself.

Into Lucidity is the moment where the series begins to breathe. The composition becomes lighter, the layers start to merge and a clearer, more open state appears.
There is still movement in the work, but it no longer feels heavy. The colours glow, lift and vibrate, as if the earlier intensity has started to turn into air, light and space.
Not everything is resolved, but something has shifted. The work carries the feeling of becoming lighter after a dense period — the first sense of brightness, energy and perspective returning.
Into Lucidity is about entering that more spacious state: where the body softens, the image opens and the afterglow begins to shimmer.

Luminous Light is the softest and smoothest work within AFTERGLOW. The colours are brighter, the surface is calmer and the whole image carries a more settled presence.
After the rawness, movement and searching of the earlier works, this piece feels like entering calm waters. The layers no longer push against each other; they seem to flow, glow and rest together.
Nothing has been erased. Everything that came before is still present, but absorbed into something lighter and more whole.
